Blue Hearts Jazz Ensemble, from the Hudson Valley, play music from the Swing, Bebop, Latin & Cool Jazz eras of modern jazz. The group's original members, Myles Lino/tenor sax, Darius Beckford/piano, Alfonso Ramos/upright bass, Kim Peralta/drums, are alumni of SUNY Orange Jazz Ensemble and SUNY New Paltz Jazz Studies Program.
